                      Yooo~~~ another post about Korea after such a long time. Today, I gonna talk about a new album from our lovely boyband, who own korea music industry last year. Yes it is exo /clap clap/ So, this year, they comeback with their second mini album "Overdose".

                       On 1 April 2014, SM Entertainment announced that EXO will be having a comeback on April 15. The company then began to reveal individual teaser photos. The title track of the upcoming album will be called "Overdose". On April 15 at 8PM (KST), EXO held their comeback showcase, broadcast live online through Samsung Music, where they revealed their performance and music video for "Overdose" for the first time. They also performed to their major hit songs. EXO-K and EXO-M will be separate for promotions for "Overdose," promoting in Korea and China at the same time. But too bad because SM already blocked the showcase videos that fans upload afterwards on Youtube. (well, not every videos, scroll to the bottom to watch the showcase video)

                        But before the mini album release, EXO-K will kick off their comeback stages on 'Music Bank' on the 18th, 'Music Core' on the 19th, and 'Inkigayo' on the 20th. EXO-M will also hold a press conference in China on the 19th and will hold their first comeback stage on CCTV's 'Global Chinese Music' on the 19th. And the album will release on April 21st, 2014. I will update after it got release, so wait for them, xx (the schdule changed because of sewol ferry tragedy)

 

                   You know, there some rumor about this album, some of fans said EXO's mini album "Overdose" have 24 versions individual covers,12 White version (Korean) and 12 Black version (Chinese). But the truth is, the 24 versions are only a Rakuten specific offer! EXO’s new mini-album will only come in two versions: Black and White. However, if you buy the albums from Rakuten, you’ll get a special photocard of your bias with your purchase. This act is a gift for Japanese fans, which as we know on last April 14th, EXO held a fan meet in Japan and it turns out good.

                     The title song, ‘Overdose’ is a hip-hop and R&B dance song. It was created by the producing team, The Underdogs, producing team worked with Beyonce, Chris Brown, and Justine Timberlake and so on, and Kenzie who made many hit songs in SM. SM Entertainment, the agency of EXO, stated, “EXO’s new album’s title song is ‘Overdose’.”, and they gave notice about the change of EXO’s style. But.. as a good friend I just want to remind you, it is SM. To have something that really new is almost impossible, so, please don't expect too much before you regret it.

                Okay so first of all I saw one of my blogger friends post something like " 25 things about me that you don't know" , and... I think that is fun to do. So here we are.... ;)

1. I like to lead something, I like to be called "leader" or something like that. Actually, I just don't like to see something NOT well organized.

                       Lohalohalo~~ hi guys, finally!! after such a long time, I can write something on  my blog again~~ Today I'm gonna talk about a new album from such a flaw-less girl band. Yup, it's Crush from 2NE1. Actually it's my first time to write review about 2NE1's album so it's kinda awkward. I have never been crazy about them, I mean.. I don't dislike/ hate them but I don't love them either, I simply like to listen to their song but I've never bought their albums. But.... this album is different!!! (well, not really but YEAH!). Okay, so what is the different between this album and the other 2NE1's album? it's the contain of songs, have  you heard news there are few songs that wrote by CL in this album? omfg yes! and they're awesome!YG ent is kind of agency that have different vibe than the other agency, I have to say that 2NE1 in one of YG group who develops slowly (this is my opinion) I mean,... they just sing the songs that given to them, there's nothing special about it, like SM boyband and girlband /oppssorrynotsorry/ but .. now CL trying to improve her writing song skills, and she did great.

         Crush is the second Korean studio album (third overall) by South Korean girl group 2NE1. The album was released on February 27, 2014 at 00:00 KST by YG Entertainment. It is the group's second full length album since To Anyone and first full musical release since 2011's 2NE1. The album is mainly produced by Teddy with contributions from Choice 37, G-Dragon, DEE.P, Masta Wu, PK and Peejay. The group's leader, CL, contributed to the album by composing and producing three songs including a solo track for herself.             YG ent revealed that to make 2NE1's crush MV spent about 500 million won! damn it!! it's such a lot of money O_O but unfortunately the mv got problem with computer graphic and have to delay the release date of it (read the notice : here). As you know that, popular group SNSD has the same problem like 2NE1, their agency being dicks their agency released the album first and the MV after that (sone's problem fixed bc mr mr MV released already) but I'm not gonna talk about SNSD's new album, to be honest I like the I Got The Boy more than Mr Mr. I don't know I feel that Mr Mr has nothing that new, I pause the MV twice because I bored (not bashing just saying my opinion). Well, I refresh the MV few times to help my sones friend with their '10 million views in one day' project,..kinda bit crazy and ... yah.. I don't know, to be honest I don't care about 'how many YouTube's views your idol could get' because I thought it was silly and a bit like... cheating? ._.)/ anyways that project failed, they only got 2million views. but whatever dude! SNSD still proud with their fans! I will update 2NE1's MV after it got release.

The True Reasons of EXO 2013 Successful

                   Hi guyss~~ fyuuhh~ finally another post after such a long time. So maybe most of you already know that I have a fangirl account on twitter ( @xopeterpan ) yeah, I tweet on that account more than my real one, lmao. Actually I have that account since I was in Junior High School but I hiatus for more than 2 years and decided to change the username to something that sounds more exo because at that time I was like crazy about them (on growl era). Every single k-pop fans already know year 2013 own by exo with their finally comeback, start with full album xoxo (main song : Wolf) and the repackage album Growl.They got a fuckingly highlight after that, and a lot of people start being their fans (include me, pmsl). But still there is something bad about those highlight, yup, immature fans. EXO as known as a boyband that have a lot of immature fans and sasaeng fans/ private life fans (when I say a lot I mean really really a lot). A lot of them just bash the other group, do something crazy like hurt their-selves  to get exo's attention, stole exo's things and sell it to another crazy fans even fight with another exostan because different opinion. When I was stan k-pop for the first time (SNSD- tell me your wish era), kpop seems really peaceful and now it's really different ;_; /cries/ that's why now I want to talk my mind what is the true reasons of exo successful. If you mature enough you can read it and if you're not.. just get lost.

For me exo's top 4 reasons why they're really popular in 2013 are:

1. Beginners luck 
2. Their Agency (SM ent)
3. Their talents and faces
4. Their Fans (more to the freak fans)

 

•  EXO's Top 1 Reason : Beginners luck 

Okay so why do I put beginners luck on the first place? this is the reason: exo still as known as a rookie group, they debut in 2012 and already sold more than 1 million copies just for their xoxo and growl album (second and third comeback). One word they're lucky. Damn it! yes they are, I mean they sold more than 1 million copies after 12 years in kpop history. I have to say that exo's debut wasn't really smooth, after a lot of teasers that released and MAMA mv they just went like a failure. No one remembers them, no one knows them (well, not as much as now for sure). They got hiatus for a fuckingly long time and lets be honest here.. at that time I really think that SM finally debuted a failure group. I read a lot of thread on kpop forum that ask about exo presence, would they get a next comeback or something like that, and at that moment most of people said exo will be the first failure SM group (I thought so too) and look at them now, if you ask a new kpop stan (probably 00liner or younger) mostly will say they stan exo, so not only an old kpop stan that like them but people who don't know about kpop can change to stan them.

                So if you sort everything, it would pretty much like this: a new group with a not-really smooth debut on April, 8 2012, hiatus for a long time, being forgotten by fans and everyone else even by their agency (opps) finally got their second comeback on June,3 2013 with a full album and repacked album on August 5, 2013, suddenly their latest album sold for 1 million copies which is the first group after 12 years did that, even not their seniors who already have a world tour, official fandom name and debut for years can do. What do you call that?  it's all about their great timing for release albums and being a hit. We can't resist that exo popularity is some-of-little-fairy-dust-that-bring-luckiness-overload. I can say that exo's next full album and the repacked won't be as famous as the growl.

• EXO's Top 2 Reason : Their Agency (SM ent)

Okay this is one of the most reason people talk about. it's SM entertainment. A lot of 'newbie' kpop stan trying to say if exo wasn't in SM they will still as popular as now. Fuck off! it wouldn't be happening. Let's be real here if there's a small agency debut a new group what will you do? probably just passed away like usual and wait for their next comeback, if it's good you will stan them and if it's not you wouldn't, what I'm trying to say here is.. groups which debut in a small agency is really hard to have fans since their first debut, that's why a lot of groups can't have a next comeback because they run out of money. And what if you heard a big agency would debut a new group, you probably will search the news about it, watch the teaser and anything  else. For example winner, team b, SM rookies and a lot more. They even not debut yet but already in the magazine, have fans more than some debut groups and bla bla bla. Just think about it, to debut 12 men is so fuckingly hard, it needs a lot of money, and only agency with a lot of money too can do that. And not every agency have a brilliant marketing tactic that can suck fans money, and SM surely does have that tactic. pmsl

• EXO's Top 3 Reason : Their talent and faces

So why do I put their talent as the third reason, tbh I think exo is pretty ordinary group, I mean ... all of exo's members have handsome, beautiful or cute faces but to find people like that in South Korea isn't a big problem, there are thousands handsome ullzzang out there even more cooler, and exo's face can called as average. Their talent just like the ordinary group (im not trying to be an expert) some of them can sing, some of them can't sing, some of them can dance, some of them can't dance and some of them just being visual. I know a group should charge each other.. but doesn't it would better if all of member can sing, dance and have handsome faces, for example the used DBSK (as five). DBSK is a miracle, poor SM they have problem with it so SM has to think the way out to get more money from the other group, lmao.

• EXO's Top 4 Reason : Their Fans (more to the freak fans)

If you have bought the exo's album you must be know that you will got a postcard of member in exo. EXO has 12 members and the album is in Chinese and Korea version. Just think about it if someone that really freak about them and want to have all of their postcards (12) they at least have to buy 12 albums, but it's too impossible to not get the same postcard, so if they want to exchange it to someone else they probably have to buy the another albums. I have saw a lot of korea online shop that sold a postcard of exo's album with insane expensive price (even more expensive than the album) and there is always people that want to buy them. And a few months ago (on MID era) I saw a signed album sold in YesAsia.com with price that 4 times more expensive than the usual. EXO biggest fandom isn't from Korea or China but from Southeast Asia, so for them (the international fans) they have to pay for the tax which will make the album more expensive. SM as known as agency that treat their artist like slaves  do a lot of things to get more money will always improve their way to get what they want (sorry not sorry), let's say what if SM sell their album in 12 different cover of each member, or course with 12 different postcard too and 2 version language (Chinese and Korea). Freak fans probably will buy all of them, and like I said before EXO has a lot of sasaeng fans. And have you heard about "EXO-J" that will promote exo songs in Japan? probably debut on April 14, 2014? so in the future SM will sell every single album with 3 version language and 12 different cover which means every single fan have to buy 36 albums if they want to get all of the version and don't forget money to collect the postcards and posters. And you should not forget too about SM official goods, CF things, concert ticket and anything else. So now you know why artist always full of respect to their fans, because actually we run their life. Maybe that's not the best way to say but you get my mind right?
